Can anyone explain WA State's Under 21 restaurant/tavern laws to me?

My daughter's been eating out with me since she was two weeks old. She is now 6 and behaves just like an adult in a restaurant, with a similar palate. I just moved to the Seattle area and keep finding restaurants that say 21+ only. Can anyone tell me what the laws are regarding this? Does it apply to places with bars inside? Or places designated as taverns? I've honestly never encountered this kind of thing in any other state. Help?

From what I have read, liquor cannot be served to anyone under the age of 21. That means those individuals cannot frequent bars, taverns, etc..... On the other hand, a person 18 years of age or older can serve alcohol with a meal in a restaurant in WA state! (And, I live in WA state!)

I would say if you find a place that you'd like to eat at, call and ask them about bringing your daughter. I'm thinking Applebees has a distinct bar area as well as a "dining" area so bringing your daughter wouldn't be a problem. The Olive Garden is the same way - bar area and dining area. A sports bar that serves food, most probably the answer would be no (I'm thinking of the two that I know of in our town - they both serve food. And, it is posted on their doors no one under 21 allowed).

Then, to take this one step further, I have noticed when a person goes into Shari's and orders wine with a meal, Shari's has one designated person who brings out the adult beverages. (That simplifies things considerately.)

I hope I have helped.

It sounds like there are different liquor licenses for restaurants and taverns. An establishment becomes a tavern, rather than a restaurant, when liquor sales exceed a certain percent of revenues.

Google Seattle liquor regulations or WA liquor laws to find out what the deal is, or if that's too difficult, ask your husband. It's his job to know the restaurant business. He's supposed to know these things.

Jesus grew to become into the proper sacrifice. In different words He met each and all of the standards to have the flexibility to pass into into the Holy of Holies. We now could have a relationship with God the father with the aid of Jesus Christ. we have no want of the different mediator for our extreme Priest is Christ. The regulation grew to become into fulfilled with the aid of what Christ had performed yet, He did no longer abolish the regulation of the ten Commandments yet incredibly made them much greater stricter than earlier. you will locate this initiating in Matthew 5 with the aid of financial ruin 7. those are regulations that we are to stay with the aid of. thank you for asking and God Bless you. :)
