Hey everyone. I had a quick question. My friends are planning to go to Dave & Busters in the near future (we are all over 21, by the way). None of us have been there before, so I just wanted to get an idea of what to expect (and maybe start coming up with a back up plan if necessary, haha). What did you think of the place? Was it fun or kind of lame? Anything opinions you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

The one by me does not have live music. If there were, then it might be an okay place to hang out. As it is, there are just way too many kids playing video games. Food is mediocre.

I went to one in Denver. It is definitely worth going to at least once to see if it fits your personal taste. There are a lot of kids and lots of kiddie games, but there are also some games that appeal to adults like horse racing and race car racing. The food is not bad and there are lots of cocktail waitresses to bring you drinks if you are involved in a game. You could also just sit at the bar and watch sports on the TVs if you aren't into the games. And unless you win a million tickets the prizes are pretty lame.

If you and your friends are kind of up-tight then no don't go D&B. Personally, I love this place when I can afford it. You go there and play tons of games (similar to Chuck e' Cheez) and you can drink as much as you want and even get some munchies. In Missouri where its located its around lots of other bars so backup plan is easy if the night is going downhill.

Well, i went to the one in atlanta about 2 or 3 years ago and it was ok. They have lots and lots of games and they had a restaurant and bar with live music. I don't know what city you're in so it may be different, but in atlanta my experience was ok. It was something different to do.

It's not bad, just highly overpriced.
