My husband and I like a place called "Norm's" at the corner of Harbor and Victoria. If you get the Texas T-Bone it is so big it hangs off the side of the plate. Prices are reasonable. The ambiance is nothing to write home about, but it is clean, sort of a Denny's on steroids. We once went there on Thanksgiving and they had an awesome Turkey Dinner for $6.99 with real turkey, not that compressed stuff. We give it 2 thumbs up! Hope this is helpful.

The best pizza in town is at Daria's Haus of Pizza at the corner of Harbor and Adams. We live about 30 miles away, but when we want the BEST pizza, we are more than happy to take the drive. Haus of Pizza is a hole in the wall Italian restaurant that the locals frequent. Here's their information:
